# How RankAI creates content

> RankAI runs a continuous content loop: research, write, publish, watch, and rewrite. Publishing is a step, not the finish line.

**Publishing is a step, not the finish line.** SEO and AEO work like experiments: a page goes live, RankAI watches how it performs, and rewrites it until it works.

<Note>**Good to know.** RankAI runs this loop for you. Your part is to keep your business details accurate and decide how much you want to review.</Note>

<Info>**In RankAI:** Sidebar → **Keywords & Content** · `rankai.ai/dashboard/<project>/content`</Info>

## The content loop

<Steps>
  <Step title="Research">Find the searches and AI questions your customers ask. See [Keyword strategy](/workflows/keyword-strategy).</Step>
  <Step title="Write">Draft one article per question, using your business facts. See [Write and edit articles](/workflows/content-production).</Step>
  <Step title="Publish">Put it live on your website. See [Review and publish](/workflows/review-and-publish).</Step>
  <Step title="Watch">Track how each page performs in search engines and AI answers.</Step>
  <Step title="Rewrite">Improve pages that aren't working yet, then watch again. See [Rewrites and updates](/workflows/optimization).</Step>
</Steps>

## What you control

| You can | Where |
| - | - |
| Add or remove topics | [Keyword strategy](/workflows/keyword-strategy) |
| Edit a draft before it goes live | [Write and edit articles](/workflows/content-production) |
| Review every article, or let RankAI publish automatically | [Review and publish](/workflows/review-and-publish) |
| Publish in another language | [Languages](/workflows/multilingual-articles) |

## What to expect

* New articles publish on a steady schedule, based on your plan.
* Published articles keep changing as RankAI rewrites them. That's by design.
* Results build over weeks and months. See [What to expect](/getting-started/first-results).
