# Quickstart

> Set up your project and get your first article live on your website.

Set up your project and get your first article live on your website. Onboarding walks you through six steps; this page explains each one.

## Before you start

* [ ] Your website address.
* [ ] A login for your CMS (for example WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify).
* [ ] A Google account with access to your site's Search Console property.
* [ ] A short description of what you sell, who buys it, and your main competitors.

## Set up

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create or open your project">Sign in at [rankai.ai/dashboard](https://rankai.ai/dashboard). Add your domain, or pick an existing project from the project switcher. Double-check the domain before you continue.</Step>
  <Step title="Business, Audience & Competitors">Fill in what you sell, who buys it, your competitors, and your writing language.</Step>
  <Step title="Setup Analytics">Click **Connect Google Search Console** and complete Google's sign-in. See the [Search Console guide](/integrations/google-search-console).</Step>
  <Step title="Site Integration">Pick your platform and follow its [blog integration guide](/integrations/overview).</Step>
  <Step title="Blog Post Settings">Add images, knowledge base documents, and writer notes so articles sound like you.</Step>
  <Step title="Auto Publish">Choose **Auto Publish (Recommended)** or **Manual Publish**. You can change it later in **Settings** → **Site Integration**.</Step>
</Steps>

Then open **Keywords & Content**, click **View** on your first article, and check it on your website.

## You're done when

* [ ] The right project is selected.
* [ ] Your CMS settings are saved.
* [ ] Your first article opens on your website with the right title, text, and images.

An article showing in RankAI doesn't mean it's live yet. Framer needs a plugin sync, and a [website built with code](/integrations/custom-site) has to fetch articles through the API.

**Stuck?** [Contact support](/support/contact). Next, read [what to expect](/getting-started/first-results).
