# Install the technical SEO & AEO script

> Connect the site script used to apply supported technical changes.

The site script is a separate connection from CMS publishing and Search Console.

## Install

1. In RankAI, open **Technical SEO → Apply Changes**.
2. Select your platform and copy the project-specific snippet.
3. Add it to your website's site-wide header using the supported platform method.
4. Save and publish the website changes.
5. Return to RankAI and run **Check Script Connection**.

Use the actual snippet from your project. Replace the placeholder only when following an implementation example.

For WordPress, a header-code plugin can add the snippet without editing theme files. Preserve existing header code.

## Verify

Confirm **Script detected on your site** and inspect the public page. Detection proves the connection; check any applied change separately.

## Troubleshooting

Check the Project ID, public website, saved header, site cache, and script-blocking settings. Avoid inserting duplicate snippets.
