# Manage your clients

> Add a project for each client, invite them, and keep every client's setup separate.

Each client website is its own project. Set up one project per client, connect their accounts, and invite the people who need access.

<Info>**In RankAI:** project switcher → **Add New Project**; then **Settings** → **Project Members** · `rankai.ai/dashboard/<project>/settings`</Info>

## Add a client

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create the project">Open the project switcher at the top of the sidebar, choose **Add New Project**, and enter the client's domain. Double-check the domain before you continue.</Step>
  <Step title="Add their business details">Fill in what the client sells, who buys it, their competitors, and the writing language.</Step>
  <Step title="Connect their accounts">Connect the client's [CMS](/integrations/overview) and [Search Console](/integrations/google-search-console). Never reuse another client's credentials or publishing destination.</Step>
  <Step title="Publish and check">Publish a first article and open it on the client's website.</Step>
</Steps>

## Invite people to a project

Open the client's project, go to **Settings** → **Project Members**, and click **Invite New Member**. Enter an email address, choose a role, and click **Send Invitation**:

| Role | Can do |
| - | - |
| Owner | Manage all roles and remove any member. |
| Admin | Invite and remove members. |
| Member | Basic access only. |

Give clients **Member** unless they need to manage access themselves.

## Client setup checklist

* [ ] Correct domain selected.
* [ ] Client's own CMS and Search Console connected.
* [ ] Who approves content on the client's side is agreed.
* [ ] The client knows to contact your agency, not RankAI, for help.
